Ever heard of headroom? Who buys a car with a quarter-inch headroom? The same could be asked for fiber DB loss. Most installers use mechanically terminated ends and splices. They will meet minimum specs upon installation, but over time if you ever need to splice the fiber you might not have the option due to insertion loss. That is why we have invested in a Core Alignment Fusion Splicer. Our terminations are guaranteed to be less than half the loss of mechanically terminated ends. With extra headroom, you will be more confident in your network!
